Boogie Knights

What did you think of this book? Of course, you could use it for the obvious: words that sound the same but are spelled differently. What did your kids think? How can you use it to support the curriculum?

  1. I think this would be a great book to use to get students to think out of the box. See if they can figure out the real word being used. It would be fun to let them come up with their own words.

  3. It was perfect for Halloween. My kids used both picture and textual clues to help them figure out what was happening in the story. We also discussed rhyming words with helps with phonemic awareness.
